Workshop Participant Policies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and schedules shift unexpectedly,  please email us at beecreativepdx@gmail.com with your cancellation request.

Any cancellations received at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop will receive a full refund. For cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to the start of the workshop a FULL class credit for a future workshop will be issued. This policy does not apply to custom jewelry orders. In the event Bee Creative PDX needs to cancel any workshop we will issue a refund or credit, if not wanting to reschedule.

Registration

Project selection and customization is required within 7-days of registration. Please be sure to check spelling and information submitted when checking out.  If the event is Bee Creative hosted, only registered guests will be permitted to participate in the workshop.

Arriving on Time

Please arrive on time for your scheduled workshop so that everyone can start on time.

Project Change Request

If you would like to change your project for your group within 72 hours of the start of the workshop there is a $50 fee, payable upon arrival. Changes made prior to 72 hours are free of charge.

Age Restriction

For many reasons, including the tools used and general safety precautions, children under the age of 10 are not permitted during workshops, especially where alcohol is permitted. We do offer youth camps and private workshops which are a better option for anyone under the age of 18.

Food and Alcohol

If you are at least 21 years old you are welcome to bring beer or wine with you to the workshop. Only those of legal age may consume alcohol at a Bee Creative PDX hosted workshop.  We ask that you do so responsibly and we reserve the right to stop a workshop at anytime.

Waiver of Liability

In consideration of the services provided by Bee Creative PDX “BCPDX” I, an adult participant, or parent or legal guardian (Parent) of a minor (individual less than 18 years old) participant, for myself and on behalf of the minor, acknowledge and agree as follows:

I understand and acknowledge that there are dangers and risks (“risks”) involved in participating in activities offered by BCPDX, or by being in the vicinity of activities offered by BCPDX, that can cause injury (including permanent disability), property damage, death, or other loss to me, my child, or others. These risks include, but are not limited to: falling down, tripping; back, bone, joint, head, neck, muscle or spinal injuries; cuts, scrapes, burns, skin irritation, skin staining, eye injuries; choking; allergies; poisoning; equipment malfunctions or failure; heat stroke, heat exhaustion, sunburn, dehydration, or other bodily injuries; damage to clothing and/or damage or loss to my property or the property of others; negligence, misjudgments, acts, or omissions by participant, others, and/or BCPDX; and participant’s personal health risks.
