Shipping and Policies
Although throughout this site "we" and "I" are used interchangeably, it's really just me, myself, and I.  I'm the writer, photographer, maker, teacher, and shipping agent. I personally take great care to ensure all of your new favorites are carefully packed and shipped anywhere.  

Processing Time
The time needed to prepare, and ship varies. Many items, such as rings and necklaces are made to order.  Please allow up to 7 days for order fulfillment, shipped out up to two days after completion.   

For other stock items allow 2-4 business days to get your items packed and out the door in route to you (for USA), after which shipping time will likely take an additional 2-4 days for U.S. deliveries and definitely longer for international shipments.  All in all, my goal is to get your items to you within a week. If you have questions, email us at beecreativepdx@gmail.com. 

Customs and Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for customs and/or import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for any delays due to customs.

Returns and Exchanges
Exchanges:  Your satisfaction is important to us! We stand behind the work and will repair, at no cost to you, any items, if they are not holding up to normal daily wear and tear. Should an item not be repairable or unable to replace, we'll offer an exchange up to 90-days after purchase and cover the cost of shipping for your replacement item(s).


Returns:  If you are not satisified and not loving your new item.  That's ok, it's bound to happen sometimes. Return policy is within 30-days, after which a refund or exchange can't be offered. If there is a problem with a product, and we always want to make it right, please email us with the details. 

Given many items are purchased as gifts, etc. proof of purchase will be required for all exhanges and returns.  

A best effort is made to provide accurate photos and descriptions of all products.  That said colors and hues vary on different devices.

Descriptions provide sizing,  measurements, and types of metal for safety to ensure you understand what you are purchasing. If you have a question about an item before you seal the deal, please email us at beecreativepdx@gmail.com.

In the event a return is coordinated.  The customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs for the return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Consider using a trackable shipping or insure the item you are returning, if it's of high value.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are the Earring Wires and Jewelry Hypo-Allergenic? 

All earring hardware is tested Nickel Free/Lead free.  We primarily use .925 Sterling Silver, 14/20k Gold Filled, Brass, and Copper wire.  They’re Hypoallergenic and safe for most ears. Stainless steel might be used on some hardware and will be listed in the description.    

Larger brass and copper rings are buffed with a micro-crystalline wax polish to help prevent irritation and reduce the tarnish marks that can accompany when wearing these metals. This coating will wear off after a while.  See the Jewelry Care and Metals information above for more details.

Q: Do you offer wholesale or consignment in retail stores? 

At this point, wholesale and consignment is not offered due to being a one woman show and just getting launched.  This is an option we hope to offer in the future.  We are pleased you are considering us, email us at beecreativepdx@gmail.com to let us know of your interest.

Q: Are replacements for lost earrings available? 

You bet! Time is set aside just for make sure you can still wear your favorites, so long as the materials are still in inventory or available. If your earrings were of the one-of-a-kind variety, then we'll want to Bee Creative about it and come up with an alternate solution, email us directly to see what can be achieved.   

If the materials are available, you'll simply order another pair online using a 50% discount code we'll provide.  The cost is 1/2 of the current retail price, plus shipping. 

Q: My brass or copper items have lost their shimmer, what can I do? 

Brass and copper can tarnish more quickly than silver and gold.  It's a natural for these pieces to tarnish, or also called oxidation. Jewelry pieces when purchased will include a complimentary Pro-Polishing square and care instructions.  These particular squares and other recommended polishing cloths are an inexpensive investment and can be purchased at RioGrande.com, which is where we get our polishing squares and cloths.   

Another option is to follow my mom's tried and true method and give your copper and brass pieces a white toothpaste rub down, using a tiny bit on a corner of and a wet towel. I don't think that the gel type of toothpaste will work. Make sure to use a soft cloth you're not worried will get stained.  Once the piece is scrubbed with the toothpaste, rinse and dry the piece thoroughly and repeat if needed.   For jewelry that has gemstones and settings, be especially careful to keep the scrubbing and the paste to the metal only, not letting touch the setting area. This method comes with a bit of controversy, and some say not to do it at all.  Good ole Google can help with providing you with other opinions.  Informed choices and all that.
